الأخوة الكرام السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته، تجدون برفقة هذا الموضوع الأيميل الذي وردني من جهات عليا بخصوص تحديثات الـ I-mate و ذلك تأكيد لكلام الأخ arabian و سلامتكم

Dear All

Below are the Updated FAQs for the New i-mate Pocket PC , if you have any
additional quires please feel free to contact us .



* Camera not working:
This should be remedied by re-applying the customisation on the device.
This is done by performing a Hard Reset by holding down the Power button
while using the Stylus to press the small hole on the bottom left of the
device. The Hard reset does erase all user data on the device, so backup or
synchronise your device to your PC first to save your data.
Perform a Hard Reset, align the screen and perform the cut and past
training, and set the timezone. Then a list of operators settings should
appear. Chose one and then accept the Arabic EULA. Let all the
applications install, the device will reset automatically when this has been
completed.
The Camera application should now function correctly.
If it does not, please download the patch from www.cddnet.com
< http://www.imate.com/imate/files/Gitex_Update.cab > ( Customisation >>
imate(tm) Pocket PC >> Gitex ). Please copy this file to the i-mate Pocket
PC and run the file using File Explorer on the device. Backup or
synchronise with your PC any data on the device. Perform a Hard Reset by

* No Arabic Support:

* SMS from Contacts: This issue is under investigation and a fix
will be available shortly from < http://www.imate.com > www.imate.com.



* Disable Arabic: Tap Start, Settings, System, tap the Arabic
Settings icon. Tap the Control tab and check Disable Arabic. Tap OK and
restart the device. Tap Start, Settings, Today, tap the Items tab. clear
the following checkboxs: Arabic Date and Pray Time.



* Connectivity Problems: On old SIM card the electrical contacts
form an oval shape, while new SIM cards for a rectangular shape. Suggest
the user exchanges their SIM card for a new one from their operator.
