Unlock iPhone (remove SIM lock)
If you purchased your iPhone more than two years ago from Swisscom, you can now remove the SIM lock. Once unlocked, you will be able to use your iPhone with a different subscription than the one that was originally purchased with the device.
Procedure
To unlock your iPhone, please proceed as follows:
- Contact a Swisscom Shop, a Swisscom partner or call our free-phone hotline number. In order to check your request to remove the SIM lock, we will need the following items of information:
• Your NATEL® telephone number, which belongs to the subscription that you purchased together with the iPhone.
• The "IMEI number" of your iPhone. Press "Settings" > "General" > "Info" and scroll down. Note down the number next to "IMEI".
• A mobile phone number for the reception of a confirmation SMS informing you that the unlocking procedure is in progress.
- Once your request has been checked and approved by Swisscom, notification will be sent to Apple. This process can take up to 24 hours.
- Wait until you receive an SMS from Swisscom informing you that the unlocking procedure is in progress at Apple.
- If you have a new SIM card, insert it into your iPhone and synchronise the device using iTunes on your computer. Once synchronisation has been completed, iTunes will display a message confirming that your iPhone has been successfully unlocked. If you do not insert a new SIM card (from a different network operator, not Swisscom), the data, which is required in order to ensure the device functions correctly, will not be transferred.

Important information regarding the utilisation of an unlocked iPhone
- Swisscom cannot guarantee that all functions on an unlocked iPhone, which is being used with a SIM card from a different provider, will work correctly. Please therefore contact your new mobile service provider before you unlock the device, in order to find out which services they provide in connection with iPhones (e.g. Internet access, MMS, visual voice mail and tethering).
- Any limitations resulting from the unlocking of the device, or the utilisation of a SIM card from a different provider, are not classified as device faults and are not, therefore, covered by the Swisscom guarantee اقدر بالطرية دي افتح ايفوني مع العلم ان ايفوني تاريخ البيع كان 9-1-2010
