New version for browsers with PNA Medion Windows CE Core 5.0
The MEDION GoPal software has been completely reworked. Alongside modern, functional design, MEDION strives for intuitive operation. In fact, they claim that users do not need operating instructions! This is all thanks to logical menu operation and the “Quick Buttons” that allow you to switch rapidly from navigation to other important functions. A programmable quick select menu enables users to access the functions they utilize most at the touch of a button. As well as convenience, the quick select menu ensures additional safety while driving. The MEDION GoPal 5 software makes exceptionally efficient use of the large 4.3-inch widescreen display. The following overview shows you which functions are available in Medion GoPal Navigator:
* Navigation in arrow, 2D or 3D mode: This provides geographical depiction of the .
* Automatic change between day and night mode: The modes vary in brightness and graphical depiction.
* TMC to bypass traffic jams: Traffic Message Channel enables traffic jams to be avoided using free information provided by radio (RDS).
* Choice of 17 languages: in total available for system use.
* Choice of quickest, shortest and most economical route: Selection of various modes to arrive at the destination.
* Choice of car, bike or pedestrian mode: Selection of different route modes for car drivers, cyclists or pedestrians.
* Use of motorways/ferries/toll roads: The use of motorways, ferries or toll roads can be excluded when planning the route on request.
* Route simulation mode: Shows a quick view of the calculated route.
* Cruising Modus: The cruising mode shows the current position on the map at any time.
* Additional information for 50 selected European destinations is available from the Polyglot Travel Guide.
* Text-to-Speech: Text-to-speech for particularly precise speech instructions (announcement of road and place names).
* Speed guide: The speed guide knows the current speed limits and on request warns when the permitted speed limit is exceeded.
* Sign Post Information: information (road and place name) displayed on the screen.
* Section blocking: The section blocking function enables route sections to be blocked so as to manually avoid traffic problems.
* Route recording: The route taken is stored using GPS tracking and can be viewed later, for example in Google Earth.
* Lane assistant: The lane assistant shows the right lane when roads get complicated.
* Contact/Address book: Synchronise the contacts on your Computer with GoPal and navigate to your friends and business partners at the touch of a button.
