You can easily install a Launcher and use it instead of the stock HTC Sense that comes with all HTC, but why would you to do that?! HTC Sense is definitely the best and most convenient and user friendly Launcher BY FAR.
Also you get HTC Locations, which is a Navigation Software from TeleAtlas, same company that makes TomTom which is best navigation Software, take it from a guy who tried everything else.
And last, but definitel not least, the HTC Sensation - like most HTC phones - is extremely customzible and flexible if you want to experiment with non-stock ROMs
So, in short, HTC Sensation is best HTC out there, the XE has Beat Technology, but almost same as Original Sensation. I think HTC Sensation XE is probably better than Galaxy SII, but it's a personal preference, the difference is extremely marginal. As for the IPhone, God rest the soul of Steve Jobs, IPhone died with him. Android will be the system for the next few years.
