If you have more than one Navigation program installed on your iPhone, you will then experience noticeable slowness in GPS signal lock, and frequent signal losses. I had Nav-N-Go, Tom-Tom and Navigon all at the same time installed on my iPhone. I was not able to lock any signal in New York. I then removed all but Navigon and now I am OK. Try that first and see what happens.1
