i have tried the edge only for few days from my friends since i wanted to be sure before buying the LG V10. i didn't like the side screen in general. it looks cool but for me less functional than a second screen fully accessible to my hand and eyes on top of the phone.
this is just a personal opinion. you might like the edge more. it totally depends on your personal preference

the device has superior specs than m9+ and yes i would recommend LG V10 over m9
of course LG v10 is much better than G4, don't waste your money on G4 if you have the ability to buy V10
regarding battery performance

it is beyond amazing. for example today.
after almost 17 hours today it is still 22% mashalla.
i used video calls, played games, internet browsing, in addition to voice calls.
i am satisfied with the battery performance.
regarding dual sim. i haven't tried it yet. tonight enshalla i will give it a try and post later my experience regarding the dual sim usage

؛اعذرني لأن قوانين المنتدى لا تسمح بالانجليزي وان سمحوا... ولكني اخالفك الرأي تماما وان كنت لا أتحدث عن الشكل الجمالي لكن بما تقوم به ولن أستطرد في شرح ميزات الشاشه الجانبيه الثانيه في النوت ايدج ولكن يمكنك أن تضع العاب عليها أي أن تلعب العام مصممة للايدج باليل وعليه وكما هو واضح انك ملم بالأجهزة ومواصفاتها فأعتقد أنه لا يوجد مقارنه من حيث الfunctions حيث أن شاشة الله Secondary 2.1" line display, 1,040 x 160px
Edge secondary measures 2,560x160 pixels in a vertical ribbon of screen.
وللعلم انا استعمل الايدج لكل ما أريده من التلفون واستعمال الشاشه الرئيسيه كwall paper
