[/COLOR]Steps 1, 2, 4 and 5 are done on the PC.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN - Download and unzip "HeiS_nb.zip" onto your PC (needs to be on the PC, not the TouchPad).

1) Download WebOS Quick Install. You can find the download here.
2) Run the "WebOSQuickInstall-4.3.1" file which you just downloaded. You should also be prompted to download Novacom, make sure you do that.
3) You now need to put your TouchPad into Developer Mode; to do this type "webos20090606" in the "Just type..." box and press enter, now switch the Developer Mode to "On".
4) Connect your TouchPad to the PC via USB and run "WebOSQuickInstall-4.3.1" (if it isn't already running) and select "Tools", then select "Send File".
5) Now, locate HeiS_nb.ttf (this is the file from "BEFORE YOU BEGIN"). Destination should be "/usr/share/fonts/". Send it to the device.

And that's all there is to it. Now all you have to do is restart your device.

Here it is, finally ... Arabic Keyboard for the TouchPad. I still have to go through the Extension set for Long Presses on each key, but most letters are there.

WARNING:
I still didn't finalize this, so please, use it carefully. Make sure you know what you are doing before even thinking about attempting this. and BACKUP ALL YOUR FILES BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.

Credits:
Dmitry Silaev (Compvir) - For his more than nice guide on the parts of the Virtual Keyboard and the structure behind it.
Isaac Garzón (isagar2004) - For his marvelous patch for Regional Keys and changing Locales.
Anyone else I might have forgotten and/or not aware about that contributed to this.

Steps:
Connect your TouchPad to the PC using the USB cable and open the WOSQI
From WOSQI, go to (Tools -> Linux Commandline)
execute the following command by copy and paste: "initctl stop LunaSysMgr"
Your TouchPad will hand now. It is fine.
In QWOSI, send over the LunaSysMgr to the following destination: "/usr/bin"
In QWOSI, send over the locale.txt to the following destination: "/usr/lib/luna/customization"
Back to the Linux Commandline, type the following command and execute it: "initctl start LunaSysMgr"
Finally, your TouchPad will do a Luna Restart.
After the TouchPad finishes the Luna Restart, do a Shutdown and Start the device again
Go to "Regional Settings" on the TouchPad
Click on Add Keyboard, and choose the layout "Azerty" and the Language "Arabic"
Add another keyboard with layout "Qwerty" and Language "English"

I have also done a tool that gives you a graphical representation of the Keyboard Layout in the Luna Manager and you can modify it. This is the tool that I have used to produce the attached files.

اخي كيف حملت نظام الاندرويد على الجهاز

هل يعمل الاندرويد فيه بشكل كامل وطبيعي زهل هو سلس وما يهنق وكيف الماركت يشتغل طبيعي لتنزيل البرامج واي نسخة من الاندرويد انت نزلتها

اخي اذا مافيها تعب عليك لو تشرح لي الطريقتين (التعريب وتحميل الاندرويد) جزاك الله خير

انا بنت مو شاب حياك الله اخوي
مايبيله شي تفضل واتبع السطر العربي بس بما فيه من تعليمات

الخطوات 1-2-4-5 لازم تسويها بالكمبيوتر نفسه مو جهاز التاب اتش بي

قبل لاتبدا حمل الملف هذا HeiS_nb.zip سو له بحث بالنت تلقاه

تلقاه بالنت حمل اخر نسخه تلقاها
2) Run the "WebOSQuickInstall-4.3.1" file which you just downloaded. You

الحين لازم تسوي هالخطوه بالناب اتش بي تحطه على مود المطورين بهالطريقه

type "webos20090606" in the "Just type..." box and press enter, now switch the Developer Mode to "On".
راح تلقى مكتوب اول البحث بالتاب مستطيل مكتوب يمه just type
اكتب هالرمز webos20090606
بالمستطيل واضغط enter مكان كلمة السر
4) Connect your TouchPad to the PC via USB and run "WebOSQuickInstall
وصل الجهاز التاب بالكمبيوتر بوصلة اليو اس بي وشغل برنامج WebOSQuickInstall-
4.3.1" (if it isn't already running) and select "Tools", then select "Send File".
اختار tools وبعدها send file دور ملف HeiS_nb.ttfواضغط ارسال
5) Now, locate HeiS_nb.ttf (this is the file from "BEFORE YOU BEGIN"). Destination should be "/usr/share/fonts/". Send it to the device.
المفروض تكتب مكان ال destination هالجمله
/usr/share/fonts/
And that's all there is to it. Now all you have to do is restart your device.
الحين افصل الجهاز بالضغط على زر الهوم المدور واول مايفصل سو ريستارت للتاب

وصل الجهاز التاب بالكمبيوتر بوصلة اليو اس بي افتح برنامج WebOSQuickInstall

From WOSQI, go to (Tools -> Linux Commandline)
من البرنامج فيه اختيار tools ادخل على لينوكس كوماند اوامر اللينوكس يعني linux commandline

execute the following command by copy and paste: "initctl stop LunaSysMgr"
انسخ initctl stop LunaSysMgr واضغط على لصق paste
اضغط enter

Your TouchPad will hand now. It is fine.
راح يهنق الجهاز لاتسوي اي شي
غير انك ترسل هالملف LunaSysMgr
للdestination ,حط مكانه هالجمله
usr/bin/



in QWOSI, send over the LunaSysMgr to the following destination: "/usr/bin"
In QWOSI, send over the locale.txt to the following
ارسل الملف locale.txt
للديستينيشن التالي

اكتب بالمربع

هالجمله
usr/lib/luna/customization/



destination: "/usr/lib/luna/customization"
Back to the Linux Commandline, type the following command and execute it: "initctl start LunaSysMgr"

اكتب هالامر في اوامر لينوكس كوماند لاين
initctl start LunaSysMgr
اضغط enter
وسكر المستطيل بعدها

Finally, your TouchPad will do a Luna Restart.
After the TouchPad finishes the Luna Restart, do a Shutdown and Start the device again

الجهاز راح يسكر من نفسه لمن يسوي رستارت اضغط على شت داون وشغل الجهاز مره ثانيه
Go to "Regional Settings" on the TouchPad
روح لخيار اللغه regional settings في التاب تش باد
واختار اضافة كيبورد add keyboard اختار بعدها layout
azerty
language arabic



Click on Add Keyboard, and choose the layout "Azerty" and the Language "Arabic"
Add another keyboard with layout "Qwerty" and Language "English"
Enjoy

اختار اضافة كيبورد ثاني وهو add keyboard layout qwerty language english

الحين عندك كيبورد عربي انجليزي
بس كلما سويت تحديث للجهاز لازم تضيف اللغه مره ثانيه لانه تنمسح من الاعدادات

بخصوص تعريب الاندرويد مايهنق والماركت شغال نظيف وكل شي اوكيه ولي فتره شهر استخدمه مايهنق ولافيه اي مشاكل حمدالله والنسخه 2.3.7
cyanogenMode 7.1.0 tenderloin alpha3

وان شاء الله اشرحه مره ثانيه لاني تعبت وترا ممكن تضيف النظامين مع بعض بالجهاز وهذا الحلو بالموضوع

بالمناسبة انا عملت تحديث للجهاز الى 3.04 فهل فيه اي تغيير بالنسبة للتعريب

ان شاء الله ننتظر موضوع تحميل الاندرويد على الجهاز

حاولت الطريقه الموضحه أعلاه ولكن عندما أحاول أن أنزل الكي بورد العربى فأن التاتش باد يهنج
و لا يفتح مما يضطرنى ان أستخدم webos doctor.
الرجاء المساعدة

اختي العزيزة انا مو لاقي الملف اللي اسمه LunaSysMgr + locale.txt لاني اوصل للمرحله هذي وما اقدر اسوي اللي بعدها

نرجوا التوضيح بشكل فديو لعم استطاعتى على فهم الشرح

ابحث على يوتيوب تجد طريقة ترقيته الى اندرويد..انا معدله من حوالي سنة و اموره عال العال عالآيس كريم ساندويش كلو شغال إلا الكاميرا ... و ما يهمني بصراحة ..لكن لا استطيع تعليمك للأسف ..عليك بالبحث
